I would like to welcome you ladies back. I hope you all had a wonderful summer. I am very excited to resume our HWC activities and general meetings with guest speakers.
Our Philanthropic luncheon will be at The INN at New Hyde Park on October 16, 2024 and will benefit The Nicholas Center which has programs to support individuals with Autism. Fall fashions will be presented by J.Jill. Your invitations should be arriving shortly. Please mark your calendar and help us make it a great success.
I would like to thank Liz Zuvekas and Stacey Milios for co-chairing the luncheon along with their committee who have been working diligently to create a memorable event.
Membership renewals have been sent out, if you have not received them, please contact Stella Caragiorgis. Please send your dues as soon as possible.
Our next General Meeting will take place on September 18th at 12 Noon at the Shelter Rock Library located at 165 Searingtown Road, Albertson NY 11507. Please share rides, if possible, as there is limited parking. The program will be “Greek Dance Moves” with Roula Zegopoulos. I look forward to seeing you all there!

The Garden Club will be going to Hicks Nursery for the Annual Fall Festival. Hicks Nurseries is located at 100 Jericho Turnpike, Westbury, NY 11590. There is free parking and free admission to attend. The Fall Festival runs from September 14- October 27th. Please call Electra to select a date that is feasible for you to attend. The outing date will be announced at the General Meeting on September 18th.
