It is with a heavy heart that I write this to you all. We regret to inform you of the
passing of our beloved President Voula Kontogiannis. Voula suffered a medical
event in early September and sadly was unable to recover.
Voula was very excited to be installed as President of our club in May and
enthusiastically recruited many new members to the club and the board. Her
positive generous energy was felt by all. Her absence leaves a void in our club.
Voula will be greatly missed.
Please keep Voula and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
May she be at peace and may her Memory be Eternal.

In Voula’s absence, we, the executive board, have been carrying out her duties and
keeping the club running with no interruptions, including preparing for our
Philanthropic Luncheon, benefitting The New St. Michael’s Home for the Aged
Expansion Program. This is something Voula and the committee have been
working on diligently for months to ensure its success.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Philanthropic Luncheon on October 18th , at
North Hills Country Club. There will be a fashion show with clothing by J. Jill as
well as many raffle prizes. If you have not done so already, please send your
check to Diana Gardianos if you plan to attend.
