GENERAL MEETING

The next General Meeting will take place on March 15th, at 12 noon, at the Archangel Michael Church in Port Washington. We are pleased to announce our guest speaker will be Attorney Eleni Mavros Panagos. Eleni has been practicing law for over 20 years. Among her areas of expertise are Estate Planning and Asset Protection, Elder Law, Wills, Trusts, Probate and Trust Administration, to name a few. Protect your loved ones and your legacy. We look forward to an enlightening presentation.

The President has activated the Nominating Committee consisting of Chairlady Alexandra Pappas & the following committee members: Electra Gaglia, Angela Maragos, Jennie Pappas, Mary Stefanides, Despina Vafeas, Louise Zuvekas. This Committee will present a slate of the Executive Board to serve for the following term: June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2025.  Names for consideration may be submitted by mail to the Committee.  The elections will take place in May at the General Meeting, at which time other nominations may be presented from the floor. The time and place will be announced in the Newsletter and will include an absentee ballot. If you cannot attend this meeting in May, you may send in the absentee ballot well in advance of the election date.

THEATER Penny Nikolakakos 516-294-9024	Wednesday, April 26, at 11:30 to see Michael Jackson – “The Musical” atThe Neil Simon Theatre. Bus will leave 11:30am SHARP from the NW Parking lot at Macy’s Manhasset.  The musical is set primarily at a rehearsal for Jackson’s Dangerous World Tourin 1992.  There an MTV camera crew arrives to get footage and interviews for a documentary on the singer’s career as he sings his hit songs and gradually opens his memories to the interviewer. COST for theatre ticket & transportation $226.00. Check should be made out to HWC & mailed to Penelope Nikolakakos, 105 Third Street, Garden City, NY 11530. Any questions call Penny. Dinner to follow at Tony’s DiNapoli, 147 West 43rd Street, COST $81.00. Please bring the exact amount on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.  It will be collectedon the bus.
